Home decor ideas for my beginner home!?
I am looking for great sites that gives me ideas,pictures,etc. for decorating my home! My basic furniture piece is my huge beige sectional but I need color ideas for my walls as well. I would like to have a color with white trim and the floor in the living room is dark cherry oak. Thanks so much and I appreciate ANY advice you would like to share!
This really depends on your style. I look at websites like pottery barn, ikea and pier one imports. Go to the furniture page of the website and pick sectionals, then look at how their rooms are furnished. You’ll get lots of ideas.
Furniture stores have some great pictures of furnished rooms too.
Magazines and catalogs are also a good place to look. Home Depot has a lot of books on room design and furnishing.and usually a place to sit while you look. Also at Books a Million you can sit and look.
